Listing Contracts are an important part of the real estate business. They effectively communicate who is responsible for doing what, give time for those items to be performed, and guarantee the listing broker to be paid for these services. Although it's not required to be in writing that you will perform some of these services, to assure the broker will be paid for these services means you need a written agreement for your compensation. We will discuss the various types of listing contracts, the difference between them, and some other options to guarantee compensation while working to effectuate the sale of a property.

This course is part of OSCAR's Certified Real Estate Professional (CRP) program.
