The Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) designation is for real estate buyers agents who focus on working directly with buyer-clients at every stage of the home-buying process.  Understand and demonstrate your value to today's buyer.  Acquire the skills and resources to succeed as a buyers agent in a dynamic real estate market. Help buyers find the right property at the right terms and price in both buyers and sellers markets.  Education Voucher disclaimer: Members using an education voucher must call the association to register, otherwise we cannot guarantee to refund you the cost of the royalty fee. Cancellation Policy: A $100 dollar No-Show Fee will be charged to your credit card if you do not cancel 48 hours prior to the start of class. Gonzalo Mejia

Gonzalo Mejia, ABR, CIPS, CRS, GRI, TRC, AHWD

Gonzalo is originally from Lima, Peru where he studied Industrial Engineering, specializing in Finance and Accounting. Mejia moved to the United States in 2001 and started his real estate career in 2004 as a Sales Associate in Pensacola, FL. He obtained his Broker License in 2006. After moving to Jacksonville, FL in 2009 he joined Watson Realty Corp. He is the broker/manager of their San Marco office. Mejia also obtained his Real Estate
Instructor License in 2013.

During his real estate career Gonzalo, has successfully completed transactions with customers from several Latin American countries, Europe and Asia. He enjoys real estate and sharing his experiences with fellow Realtors. He also believes that having fun makes the process more enjoyable for everybody.

Gonzalo has 20 years of experience as an instructor. Topics he has taught include real estate, math and physics, Spanish as a second language, technology and fitness. He has been a guest speaker at different REALTOR® events to present about cultural diversity. Mejia also volunteers at the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors teaching Ethics, Fair Housing and Anti-trust at the monthly new member orientation.

*********Cancellations, Refunds, and No-Shows**********

1. Cancellations - Three or less business days prior to class date are not eligible for a refund and will result in forfeiture of entire registration amount.
2. Cancellations - Four or more business days prior to class date are eligible for a refund:
Refund Checks - Issued for entire registration amount for cancellations received seven or more business days prior to class date
Refund Education Vouchers - Issued for registration amount for cancellations received between four to six business days prior to class date.
3. No-Shows - Will result in a $100 dollar No-Show Fee for free classes or forfeiture of entire registration amount for fee-based classes. Additionally, your account will be locked and suspended until No Show fee has been paid.
